I began my career in Audiology in 1977 working for the NHS. I underwent my initial training at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London. Having gained experience in several hospitals and a brief spell with a leading hearing aid manufacturer, I then spent twelve years in charge of Audiological Services for Southend Healthcare Trust. I gained my private qualifications in 1988 and finally set up Thorpe Hall Hearing in 1995. I am a registered clinical physiologist and am also registered with the professional associations listed below, whose websites may be visited by clicking on the links. Membership of these bodies is dependant upon continuing professional development, ensuring knowledge of the latest hearing aid technology and good practice.
